Good News
Hey. I'm back! And I'm back because now I finally have time to write--All the time in the world, actually, for the next week. Let me tell you a little story about yesterday.
It all started as a rather good day, for a Monday. I found my stash of Tetley tea from back in the day, so took some into work and was enjoying a cup of it when my producer called a crew meeting. "You can all go home," she said. "For the rest of the week." There was a bit of a pregnant silence when everyone looked around at each other. "Are we all fired?" "Are we in the twilight zone?" Nope. It turns out that we all just get the week off. And to top it off my job was extended for another two months so that I don't have to find another one until after the New Year!
What am I going to do with all of this time off? First I'm going to sleep. I already did that quite a lot today, as it turns out. Then I'm going to finish unpacking all the stuff I never took out of boxes from the move. Then I'm going to Disneyland. Anyone want to come?

A day off, no strings attached?? Wow! Gotta be a catch though. Did the bosses tell you whether or not you guys would still be paid for this time off?
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that... I already did my time card. It's all "time off with pay." Thank goodness for that--otherwise it wouldn't be such good news...

A week would give me time to clean up all the junk still on the hutch! I have statements and old bills from three months ago, which was the last time I cleaned it.
